Blue Ivy has been dubbed her moms mini-me after netizens saw photos of her out and about in a denim look featuring a scarf top. However, some feel the look is inappropriate for her age.

Bringing style to the streets of Beverly Hills, the 12-year-old daughter of music moguls Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and Jay-Z Carter, looked beautiful in a blue denim look. Fans who saw the famous tween cannot stop gushing over how much she resembles her mother, who previously wore a similarly styled top.

For her day out, Blue sported denim cargo pants and fashioned a white scarf into a strapless top. She paired her cool ensemble with white and blue Jordan 1s designed by Nike and draped a denim jacket over her forearms.

The budding young performer accessorized with a gold necklace, gold earrings, trendy shades, and a chic mini blue purse. According to media outlets, Blue wore the outfit while she was spending time with her friends at Cipriani.

Online observers, who saw the photos of Blue in her denim and scarf top getup, took to social media to marvel at how much the young lady looks like Beyoncé.

Not only does Blue Ivy resemble her iconic moms physical features, but, judging by a throwback photo of Beyoncé from her Destinys Child era, Blue is emulating her moms style as well.

Like the “Single Ladies” singer, Blue Ivy Carter is no stranger to causing an online commotion with her fashions. Before the recent buzz about her scarf top ensemble, Blue Ivy ignited a flurry of comments with the denim outfit she wore at the iHeartRadio Music Awards earlier this year (2024), which she attended with both her mom and dad.

However, on Instagram, some fans expressed reservations about Blue Ivys ensemble. “She dresses too grown,” one . “Wearing a cleavage-showing outfit at 12 years old? What?” questioned another. One upset user insisted, “Dress her like a 12-year-old.”

Despite the negative remarks, other fans gushed over Blue Ivys style. Over Twitter, some users discussed the young stars impressive ensemble. “Can we talk about Blue tho!!? That denim outfit,” a fan tweeted. “Look at Blue Ivy with the curls in!!” another reacted with awe.
